Simon Weston O.B.E. Chairman |
|
Simon is often referred to as the face of the Falklands, but I would like to refer to him as the heart of the Falklands Veterans. His sheer determination to not allow what happened to him in 1982 to rule his life has given hope and courage to many to work towards a better future.
Simon has been instrumental in setting up the Charity 'Weston Spirit' which works to help young people throughout the UK. He is tireless in pushing the charity forwards.
He is also in demand for his eloquence as a speaker, which has seen him travel all over the UK and even speaking at Political venues, his warm Welsh tone sings out with a cheeriness and clarity which has also seen him in demand for TV appearances. |

Jim needs no introduction, this family favourite has been entertaining the UK for many years with his own special brand of humour. His work has made him a star who is thought highly of, with his one man stand up shows, TV appearances and Game Shows, his late night TV one man stand ups and much more, and not forgetting his favourite performance each year in Pantomime.
Jim also works tirelessly for a number of good causes one being a charity he set up to help provide entertainment for British troops throughout the World.
Jim has worked and helped many times to raise money for Falklands Veterans and is the first to say that it is about time a charity was in place to help Falklands Veterans. |
