PTSD Getting Help

The Ex-Services Mental Welfare Society, COMBAT STRESS, exists to serve men and women who are serving, and who have served in the Armed Forces.

For over 80 years, we have been the only services charity specialising in helping those of all ranks from the Armed Forces and the Merchant Navy suffering from psychological disability as a result of their service.

Ty Gwyn  is known as one of the UK's leading Centres for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), helping ex-Armed Forces and Civilian Emergency Services Personnel.

PTSD  occurs from being involved in or witnessing a major traumatic event - for example, a terrorist bomb attack or a major road traffic accident. When the symptoms persist, sufferers often need expert help to cope.
